Rep Team Evaluations
Cape Breton West Rep Team Evaluations begin on October 1st! We are encouraging all U9 to U18 players in Cape Breton West to sign up below and come out and participate to be considered for Rep Team rosters. Strait players are eligible to participate in U11 AA and U13 AAA sessions. The complete schedule is available online.
Evaluation Registration
To try out for a Cape Breton West Rep Team you will need to register for the Evaluation Sessions for your age group and make your payment by e-transfer.

Note: U15+ players that are new to body contact will need to have taken an approved checking clinic to participate.
COVID Protocol
Players are asked to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before their ice time, check in with the Safety Person in the lobby, put their name on their water bottle (no sharing!), wear a mask when they are not on the ice, and stay home if they are feeling unwell. Proof of Vaccination
Starting Oct. 4, people who are 12 and older will need to provide proof of full vaccination to participate in hockey. The Safety Person will be set up to accept proof at Evaluation Sessions for players and spectators. Please be patient with our volunteers as the process is new and required by law.
Hockey Canada Registry
Every player from U7 through U18 in all areas of Cape Breton West will need to be registered in the new HCR (Spordle) system. When you have completed that process you will receive an “Invoice” email from Hockey Canada (no-reply-hcr@hockeycanada.ca) with the names of the players you have registered. If you have not done this already please Register with Cape Breton West through Hockey Canada for this season.
